Fluxer automod guide
Automod is a rules engine. Messages, edits, joins, and moderation signals become events. Rules fire when a trigger matches, conditions pass, and the author is not exempt.
Two ways to configure
- Modules: friendly view for Spam, Invites, Links, Blocked Words, Caps, Mentions, Attachments, and Names. Each has severity tiers.
- Custom rules: pick triggers, conditions, exemptions, and actions directly (Premium unlocks higher limits).
Evaluation order
- Enabled and bots (bots skipped unless affectsBots is on)
- Exemptions (users, roles, channels, staff priority)
- Cooldown
- Triggers (OR; first match wins)
- Conditions tree
- Actions in order
Lower priority numbers run first. Keep stopOnMatch on so lower rules do not double-punish.
Testing
Run !automod for status, or reply with !automod debug to dry-run without punishing.
