How to set up a Fluxer server for moderation

Brand-new Fluxer communities fail when channels exist but staff ranks, logs, and bots do not. Use this checklist before you open invites.

1. Roles and hierarchy

  1. Create Owner / Admin / Mod / Helper roles with clear Fluxer permission stacks.
  2. Put bot roles above roles they must manage (and below Owner).
  3. Decide who may use dangerous perms (ban, manage roles, manage channels).

  1. Invite Pluuty with Administrator.
  2. Open the dashboard, pick the server, and complete onboarding (staff ranks, logs, protection preset).
  3. Set your prefix (! by default) and smoke-test !ping / !help.
